Out of state community college financial aid eligibility?

Are you still eligible to receive Financial Aid, if you’re planning to attend an out of state community college. Can the government deny aid because it’s out of state?

As long as it is an accredited college and is eligible to receive federal funds, then you’re still eligible to complete the FAFSA and receive the funds that you’re entitled to. You won’t be denied because you’re attending an out-of-state school.

you can use federal fin aid at an out of state school. Just be aware you won’t get more money because you are choosing this more expensive option. Your federal loan and grant money will go a lot farther if you stay close to home and you won’t be eligible for any state grants.
