Generally, foreign students are provided for by their families and/or their governments. In the U.S., for example, the government is barely able to provide for its own citizens. It is unreasonable to expect that the U.S. government would pony up to educate foreign students. What would be the point?

All federal education programs, including the student loan programs, are open to U. S. citizens only.

Appeal to your government for assistance.
References :
I'm a foreign student from Korea, where can I find ways of getting scholarship?
I'm currently going to school for my second BA, but I'm planning on getting a MA and eventually, a PhD.

All the scholarships I find are for natives. Only the ones at school are open to foreigners and natives.

Where can I find a directory of scholarships that I do qualify and can apply for?

Links and personal experiences welcome.

Thanks in advance!
