There are only 41 universities in Australia, all of them are fully accredited and they are tightly controlled, therefore the quality and recognition of their graduates are equal from wherever university you are studying from. The most important thing is you have to READ the course information carefully, since some courses may have the same name but different content.

To find out the course that you are taking and where it is offered, I suggest you to go to IDP Education Australia website (www.idp.edu.au). IDP is an organisation that gives information to international students who wants to continue their study in Australia. Once decided on the uni, fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of your academic qualification. The process will take abt 2-3weeks, depending on the time of the year.

Fulbright Study in Australia focusing on higher education/student affairs/student development?
I am a doctoral student studying higher education. I am seriously looking into applying for a Fulbright scholarship for 2008-2009 to study college student development and western higher education outside the US. I read on the Fulbright website that students seeking to study in Australia must arrange their own hosting institution.

I would love to work and study about college student services at an Australian university, but I really don’t know where to begin. I have checked out numerous Australian institution sites and several had postgraduate programs in higher education, but I couldn’t find any that offered doctoral programs in this field. Can anyone give me any ideas along these lines?
